What happens if I have problems once I've moved in?

We will respond as quickly as we can and review any issue.
Who is responsible for changing light bulbs in my property?
This is the tenants’ responsibility as it is a consumable, and you must also ensure that all light bulbs are working when you vacate the property.
The Green Impact Student Home (GISH) accredited houses have LED lightbulbs throughout, and these should be replaced with similar.
We have a vested interest in ensuring your household runs smoothly and YOUR COMMUNICATION is critical to enabling this.
If you think something does not sound right, or isn't working properly, then please let us know as soon as possible.
We will pop down to review and hopefully pre-empt anything before it goes wrong.

How long will the repair take ?
We aim to review any problem as quickly as possible, dependent upon the severity, and determine the required solution. We are sometimes dependent upon the availability of specialists / engineers. We publish our target timescales for resolution of the various types of maintenance which is based upon those defined by the Universities, in your tenant handbook.
Any damages to the property or equipment failures must be reported immediately.
Occasionally you may experience a problem with the plumbing, gas or electrics in your property for which you will require a qualified service person to come and fix it.
Other accidents may also happen, such as damages to furnishings, walls, ceilings, flooring or carpets. Should any of these issues occur then you must report them to us immediately
